You can initiate electronic administration for three case types on the site.

The legal framework for submissions relating to crimes is defined in Act XIX of 1998 on criminal proceedings (hereinafter CP). The basic principle is that anyone can report a criminal offence.

The legal framework for reporting missing persons and reporting the location/whereabouts of a missing person is defined in Act LXXXVIII  of 2013 on the warrant records system and the search for and identification of persons and objects.

The basic principle is that the Police will issue a warrant in order to identify the location of a person whose whereabouts is unknown if their disappearance has been reported to the police. No legal remedies are available against the warrant issued.

The third case type concerns submissions relating to the investigation of deaths. The legal framework is primarily defined in Act CL of 2016 on the general rules of administrative proceedings and services. The customer can initiate administrative proceedings against a final decision, except for decisions where no appeal can be made. In the case of decisions where an appeal can be made, administrative proceedings can be initiated after one of the persons eligible has made an appeal and the appeal has been judged.
